In addition to the Chicago Bulls inspired Dunk High that Nike has just released at select Footlocker’s across the US and other fine Nike retailers, the Swoosh has also released this Phoenix Suns inspired Dunk High. We first featured these Dunk High’s a few weeks ago not knowing what NBA team they were inspired by but now thanks to our sources it has been confirmed that they are indeed inspired by the Suns. The color blocking and materials used are similar to that of the Warriors’ and Bulls’ Dunk’s that we’ve seen only the colors are different for obvious reasons. Air Force One ‘Criminal Minded’ Custom Sneakers
Im loving these Air Force Ones known as Criminal Minded. Designer Illego is the brains behind the design which includes the use of some cool looking straps made out of snakeskin and carbon fiber. The idea is inspired by the limited edition (365 pairs) Etnies RockSteady Hi which came out mid year in 2006. The stripes on the toe box have a very nice contrast between the matte and glossy finish. Illego used a high gloss finish on that and mixed pearlescent powder with the black to give it a very subtle blueish shimmer when viewed up close in bright lighting. The straps which were used on these sneakers are carbon fiber on the outside with purple and black snakeskin on the inside of them. The high ankle strap which connects to the entire heel piece was from a black patched fabric material. Lastly purple quilted fabric was stitched to the back of the tongue.

Detroit Makes Sagging Pants A Crime
Saggy pants are a crime — a violation of the city’s disorderly conduct ordinance — and exposing the buttocks is indecent exposure. Both crimes are misdemeanors punishable by 93 days to a year in jail and fines of up to $500.
Meanwhile, other cities are covering their behinds as well. Village trustees in the Chicago suburb of Lynwood, Ill., passed an ordinance last week that says people caught exposing 3 inches or more of their underwear will be fined $25.

Nike Dunk ‘Paris’ Custom Sneakers
A few artists in the past have created their own custom sneakers to resemble the limited Nike SB Paris Dunks. Many of the designs we saw pretty much stuck to the original design Nike had released. tM Customs however decided to put a whole new twist to things with his version of the Paris Dunks displayed here for the ladies out there. Instead of the usual picture box design found on the originals, tM Customs has included full images on the frontal, mid panel and heel all laid out on canvas. To take things a little further a light blue stripe pattern was added to the tongue which blends nicely with the light green and other touches of blue in the designs.

Vibe Hosting Best Rapper Alive Tournament
This tournament will poll 64 of the industries "best" rappers/emcees from past and present to see who comes out as the top dog. Some of the artist that will be featured in this tournament pool will be, Jay-Z. Nas, Lil Wayne, Joe Budden, Bow Wow, Trina, Lil Boosie, Soldier Boy,Bun B, Ludacris, and many more.
This actually is pretty dope the only thing is some of the names on this list should not be there, aswell as there are some names that are not on the list that should be there.... but its still pretty interesting none the less! I came out with Nas as the overall victor but im sure it will vary for everyone!

Proper has just received shipments of two colorways in the Nike Dunk Low model which were slated as Fall 2008 Releases. They both feature the use of premium leathers, suede, and heavy knit textiles to create uniwue, interesting designs and colorways.
Nike Air Force 1 Premium WP - Brown - Gum
Not much is known about these Air Force 1 Supremes, other than that they come in a very clean, very simple brown colorway, with a white swoosh for an accent. These are definitely some of THE cleanest Air Force 1’s in recent memory, and if released, they promise to be one of the most successful Air Force 1 drops ever, if the online hype is anything to go off of. With a clean colorway, premium quality materials, and the ageless design of the Air Force 1, these kicks have everything in the world going for them; let’s hope Nike lets them get to mass production!
Nike Air Yeezy - Black/Gray
The hype continues to build as we have the latest colorway of the Kanye West x Nike Air Yeezy shoe to show you. This Air Yeezy looks similar to the colorway that Kanye wore when he performed at the Grammy’s a few months ago. The upper is almost completely Black and is mixed with a bit of Gray on the outsole. We’re still waiting on an official release from the good folks over at Nike or Mr. Louis Vuitton Don himself, but it seems everything is still under tight wraps and we’ll have to wait some more before we find out if these shoes will ever make it to retail shelves.

Nike Air Jordan Force XX (AJF20) - White - Red - Black
With the black patent leather sample Air Jordan Force XX’s being profiled a few weeks ago, we now have pictures of the final version of the white colorway. Some of you may have noticed that the earlier samples of the black shoe didn’t feature the Air Jordan XX midfoot strap, like the final samples pictured. The addition of the midfoot strap is to be a permanent change. Like the black versions, this sneaker features a patent leather upper, the Air Jordan XX ankle strap, and the Air Force 1 sole. The shoe is set to release on November 28 of this year.

Custom Nike ‘F14′ Dunks
Here we have a new pair of custom Nike Dunks designed by TheStarscream who is also the artist behind the Soul Glo Air Force Ones and more. These are dubbed ‘F14′ and the design includes a nice red, gray and black colorway. Im not really sure what TheStarscream is officially calling the pattern included on them but it sort of reminds me of Space Invaders for some reason. Like the new and improved Space Invaders with the F14 on the heel that was blended into the pattern instead of some old 1960s spaceship. Thats what i see atleast when i look at these, but ive always been known to interpret things differently then others so take a look for yourself. Besides the pattern being added to the frontal and heel panel TheStarscream also threw in some red and black on the rest of the upper panels. The toe box is sort of interesting as well, where as most of it was painted black TheStarscream added a small section of red to it where it attaches to the tongue to 2 tone look.

Custom Nike ‘Glow In The Dark’ Dunks
Designer ONE20SEVEN hit me up VIA email with some pictures of these pretty interesting Nike Dunks. Using a glow in the dark pair of Dunks as the base ONE20SEVEN added a neon green light strip around the Nike Swoosh to make em glow even more. The light is powered by 2 AA batteries hidden behind the tongue of the shoe with easy button snap access. They dont just light up a solid green neon though, 2 settings have been added where you can change them from either solid or strobe. They also have a tennis ball fur lining and insole but you cant notice that in the pictures, so just make a note of it. Only 2 pairs have been done, 1 for a customer and another personal pair for ONE20SEVEN himself. Nike Dunk High Premium SB - Shoe Goo
Not much has been revealed as of yet about this interesting Nike SB drop, other than that it is a pair of Dunk Hi Premiums in a red/blue colorway, with a clear gum midsole. Based on Shoe Goo,which is a product used in skating for many purposes, these kicks make good use of treated coated canvas and crinkled patent leather, with that beautiful clear gum midsole only accenting the great looks of these kicks.
Nike 6.0 x Alkaline Trio - Heart + Sole Air Zoom Cush
Nike 6.0 and Alkaline Trio joined forces to translate the energy of action sports and punk rock into a pair of collaborative sneakers. The band selected a synthetic leather Cush as their canvas, and a black and red color palette to pay homage to their hometown Bulls. They met while working as bike messengers in Chicago, and custom design elements include reflective details, distressed materials, and bike tread-inspired graphics. This collaboration is now available at Nike 6.0 retailers and on nikestore.com.

Nike SB Spring 2009 Line - Up
Some pictures of the Nike SB Spring 2009 Catalog were recently leaked onto the internet, and now, we have pictures of the actual shoes. For the most part, they are part of the ongoing Custom Series which features color schemes hand picked by Nike SB Team Riders. We will definitely be posting about each shoe individually as their release dates approach. There are plenty pictures to view so have fun with them.
Alife For Reebok Designed in NYC Series 1
ALIFE and Reebok will be launching the ALIFE for Reebok collection consisting of 4 classic Reebok silhouettes in canvas for the first time. The collection features DuPont technology with all-canvas uppers coated in Teflon, so they’re stain and water resistant and very breathable. The men’s pack features the ERS 5000 in three colorways: White/Yellow, Grey/Blue and Black/Red. While the women’s pack features the Ventilator, the Pro Legacy Mid and the Freestyle High which were designed for three different functions: running, basketball and aerobics. Both the men’s and women’s pack features white, grey and black canvas uppers. All 6 pairs come with leather-lined collars and insoles and three extra pairs of laces in a custom printed lace-bag.
