Nike is scheduled to release this pair of Dunk High SB’s which have been nicknamed Boba Fett. They are inspired by the Star Wars collection, and the fictional character who is actually a bounty killer hired by the Galactic Empire and Jabba the Hutt to track down and capture Han Solo and Chewbacca. This isn’t the first time that Nike has turned to the Star Wars series for inspiration, as they released a pair of Storm Trooper Dunks a few years back. Look for these to hit select accounts next month but they will be difficult to get a hold of.
Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro - Laser - Black - White - Gum
The Air Jordan 1 is making a pretty big come back this Fall and Holiday season with several new Air Jordan 1 Low variations and several Air Jordan 1 High variations (yes, variations, not colorways) as well. One interesting new colorway of the regular Air Jordan 1 High is pictured above, even our very complete Air Jordan Release Dates doesn’t have yet. Thus we do not have a release date, style number or official colors for the sneaker yet. The upper looks to feature premium black leathers along with nubuck featuring laser etched details on side panels.
Nike Dunk High Premium (GS) - Halloween
We’ve become accustomed to seeing certain Holiday releases from Nike every year, and Halloween is definitely one that they take pride in. This year, Nike has released this pair of Nike Dunk High Premium (GS) ’s as part of their Halloween collection. They sport a black upper with white and orange blaze accents. They may look subtle but actually glow in the dark, which is definitely the highlight of the shoe. They are now available at select Nike retailers.

Adidas Conductor Hi Felt + Adidas Concord High
Two clean premium styles from Adidas are on their way out to stores now, one is the Adidas Conductor Hi and the other a Concord High. The Adidas Conductor High definitely take some hints from the current super high top sneaker trend. The sneaker is otherwise a very clean black leather on the upper with a felt extension to create a super high top look. The Adidas Concord Hi is just as clean but not as high ad the Conductor. The Concord a simple and dope white and silver colorway. The Conductor is priced at $120 and the Concord is $100. Both are available in most Adidas retailers but will be available online at davidz.com on September 29th.

Time Out New York selected Jay as one of the “New York 40″ for their new issue in celebration of Time Out family’s 40th Anniversary. The list also includes, Derek Jeter, Mayor Bloomberg, Elliot Spitzer and Tina Fey.
You’re the only rapper on this list. We were considering Nas but have this 13-year rule: People on this list had to have had an impact in the last 13 years. And Illmatic was 1994. Should we have included him?
Jay-Z: Ah, wow! [Laughs] That’s a tough question. [Pauses] Yeah, only because of the impact of that album, when it’s considered one of the best albums ever created, you have to document that.
How about Kanye? Has he earned it yet?
Jay-Z: He’s from Chicago, but he’s close. I don’t know if he’s had that one album that’s moved the entire culture, but he’s hit it three times in a row. He’ll be on every list one day.

Air Jordan 1 High Doernbecher Freestyle - Mr. Boober
Here we feature some detailed pictures of some custom Air Jordan 1 (I) High that have a beautiful story behind them. For the past few years, Nike and Jordan Brand have teamed up with the Doernbecher Childrens’ Hospital to release a series of charity sneakers in which proceeds would go to help funding hospital. This time around, Tony Taylor a.k.a Mr. Boober was the designer on this pair of Air Jordan 1 (I)’s. He actually fought Nephrotic Syndrome and had a successful kidney transplant.
The shoes themselves feature a beautiful black and blue gradient design, with palm trees illustrated along the side panels. Jayson Mayden and Estelle Maranan guided Tony with his vision of the project and the inspirations took inspiration from the very experiences of his life. They are scheduled to release on November 14, 2008 alongside 4other pairs of shoes that will go to the same cause.
Nike Dunk High - I Love Paris Customs
YoaKustoms is at it again. We just showed you his Nike Dunk - Big Bad Wolf Customs and now here we have the ‘I Love Pairs’ Dunk Highs. The whole subway style theme has been done before but YoaKustoms had a customer in France who wanted him to design a pair of Nike Dunks with the Paris subway system, the Eiffel Tower the word Paris all included. YoaKustoms started out doing a freehand version of the subway system on the upper in red, blue, yellow and black and then added ‘PARIS’ in big black bold letters which wrap around the heel panel. The colorway of the sneaker was done to match the colors which you would find in the flag of France. On each insole YoaKustoms added the Eiffel Tower to finish up the I Love Paris Nike Dunks.
Nike ACG Terminator Hybrid - Spring 2009
The Nike Blazer was recently recreated as outdoors sneaker, next Spring, Nike is taking its Terminator model and applying the same. Material wise, the Terminator has definitely tacked on quite a bit of outdoors related materials, including a rubberized toe area for grip and durability. Nike Clima-Fit is used on most of the upper body for its breathability, lightweight, water-resistant features. On the outsole, although not a full Nike Free sole, Nike Free design elements has been applied to give the footbed extra flexibility. Overall the shoe looks pretty good but we’ll wait to see them in person for the final nod of approval. Look for two colorways to drop Spring 2009.

Air Jordan 1 Low Velcro - White - Black - Varsity Red
Toward the end of this month, Brand Jordan will be releasing an interesting new version of the Air Jordan 1 Low. Another interesting and recent version of the AJ 1 is the Air Jordan 1 Low Phat which featured a stuffed tongue. This new version called the Air Jordan 1 Low Velcro, actually replaces the laces with two velcro straps. While the silhouette stays the same, the addition of the two straps does add a bit of bulk to the top.
Nike Dunk Low ‘Shmack’ Customs
These Nike Dunks were designed for Todd Askins, the owner of Shmack awhile ago. Bespoke Sneaker Gallery designed the sneakers using numerous colors such as metallic gold, turquoise, magenta, white and yellow to design a bright and colorful sneaker. The side of the Nike Dunks displays a mockup of the Shmack text logo which was done in the same cartoon block lettering style. Along with the Shmack logo Bespoke Sneaker Gallery added in some signature Shmack stars scattered throughout the mid-panel and heel panel. Bespoke Sneaker Gallery also did up a custom made Shmack sneaker box for go along with the custom Dunks. Todd Askins liked the sneakers so much that he used them in a national ad campagian for Shmack for quite some time.

LFSTL x New Balance 577
A few weeks ago we reported an upcoming collaboration between Dutch boutique and the New Balance 577, now we get a better look at the multi-colored sneaker and are provided with solid info. Arnie of LFSTL decided to the cockroach as his main source of inspiration, one of the oldest and high involved creatures on this planet. The cockroaches adaptive style is paired with a classic model, the 577.
Furthermore, the sneakers also pay homage to Rotterdam, a city made up of different styles of architecture, attributed to WWII. In addition, the sneakers are composed of a grey, black and white palette, three colors commonly found on Rotterdam buildings.
Accents of petrol noting the industry and harbor, while purple indicates the evolving architecture scene. However, these sneakers wouldn’t be complete without a variety of other elements including gum sole, pig skin suede, premium croc, white patent leather and perforated suede, a subtle combination illustrating the versatility of the 577.
Nike Dunk High - Ultimate Glory
Tying in to the Ultimate Glory Energy Event in October, these Nike Dunk High’s take the use of elephant print to a new level. Adorned in a solid red and elephant print upper, these sneakers also featured “Ultimate Glory” label on the tongue as well as Chavez and De La Hoya embroidered at the heels of the sneakers. There hasn’t been much information to support the sneakers, but we assume red is used to represent the gloves and the names on the heel refer to the two boxers.
