Nike Air Force One “Arctic” Customs
A new custom sneaker has emerged from the Sekure D lab. This is the Nike Air Force One “Arctic” which was a special order done for a customer. Dipping into this his amazing graffiti talent Sekure D covered majority of the Air Force One in a white, blue and black graffiti design which is always a sight to see. The mid panel was done in a simple black and the Nike Swoosh was finished in blue and black whereas the blue is over the black mid panel and as it goes off towards the heel it jumps to black over the graffiti design.

With rumors that the Air Jordan 23 (XXIII) may be the last numbered Jordan, Jordan Brand continues to come up with bright and innovative concepts to keep them moving along. Here we would like to preview several colorways in the new Air Jordan Olympian. This model was created with the upcoming Summer Olympics in mind, and are slated to begin releasing sometime in August. Coming in July Jordan Brand will released 6 colorways of a new Air Jordan III (3) Fusion Series. Combining the design of the Air Jordan 3 and the Nike Air Force One these are pretty sick. The whole upper is pretty much the Air Jordan 3 with the cement print while the sole is based after the Air Force One. They will be released between July and September. Nike Dunk Hi “Vinyl Assault” Customs
One of the newest custom sneakers from Image4ever are these Nike Dunks which are called “Vinyl Assault”. The custom Dunks where made for SSUR, a boutique out in Los Angeles, California. Image4Ever also did up 2 pairs of custom Nike socks to go along with the Nike Dunk and has included 3 extra sets of laces, we dont have pictures of all that at the moment though. The use of the colors Ultra Orange and Varsity Red add for a nice color combo on the upper which is sure to catch some eyes walking down the street. A purple and black print covers the Nike Swoosh with random white spots added it for an extra touch.

Pharrell x Domeau & Pérès | The Perspective Chair
We present you the Perspective Chair. It was designed by Pharrell in collaboration with Domeau & Pérès who built it and will be making the additional chairs. The chair, as well as another chair design and a table will be part of a show in Paris at the prestigious Emmanuel Perrotin Galerie. The show will be from October 21st 2008 until January 10th 2009. The chairs will be available in a few colors and only 4 of each will be sold. The chair represents the love between a woman and man. Via BBC/IceCream.
Yet another interesting project by Pharrell next to his own clothing line and continuous work with Louis Vuitton on sunglasses and jewelry.
Nike SB Dunk Low - Space Tiger
Here’s a look at a particular Nike SB Dunk Low that hasn’t really been talked about and seen only on a few occasions. This SB Dunk Low is inspired by the Wolrld Industries “Space Tiger” skate deck designed for and by Randy Colvin.
Featured on the board are 70’s like designs and colors which are also seen on the Dunks. The Dunks sport tiger print on the tongue and insole and a star pattern on toe box and side panel. Unfortunately, the swoosh and sole colors clash, the golden swoosh is very subtle but the neon sole is very distracting. No official release date yet. Via Sole Fresh.

Adidas Superstar: A Tribe Called Quest Customs
These custom Adidas Superstars feature the colorful design on the upper which you would find painted onto the person who was on the front of the Tribe Called Quest album covers. The liner and sole are solid green while the Adidas logo and lace tab have a yellow outline to them, which takes after the yellow outline around the person on the Tribe Called Quest album covers. I think the concept is great, specially being a Tribe Called Quest fan for many years. Desp One even threw on a pair of shiny Adidas lace locks to finish them up. Nike Air Force 1 - White / Varsity Red - Perforated
Here we feature the Nike Air Force 1 - White / Varsity Red - Perforated. They feature a white leather upper with red accents, as well as quarter panels which are perforated, and feature a design like something you’d see on a tablecloth. They also feature a red midsole, which deinitely helps draw attention to this otherwise bland shoe. No word yet on a release date but we will notify you guys once we receive any news.
Air Jordan I (1) GS - Grape / Emerald Green / White
The Grape Air Jordan V (5) is one of the most remarkable Jordan Brand releases ever to be sold, with that said it is only right that the color-way make its transitions to the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan I (1).
Unfortunately, the Grape Air Jordan 1 is only scheduled to be released in grade school sizes, but nevertheless it is a great attempt by the Jordan Brand to bring something new to the table.

Nike Dunk Low SB - Gold Stars
Here we feature a recently surfaced picture of the Nike Dunk Low SB - Gold Stars. We don’t know much about the, but it is rumored that they will not release until 2009. They feature a low cut design with an all around gold color scheme, as well as stars which have been embossed onto the leather. We’ll keep you updated as we receive more information.

The Nike Air Structure Triax 91’s have arrived at Overkill in a tight colorway. They come in a white nylon upper with black fake leather, blue nylon applications, infra red swoosh, special logo stitches and a graphic “Athletic” typo print on side and ankle.
Hood Heroes: Paul Robeson - Do the Knowledge!
Paul Robeson--singer, actor, civil rights activist, law school graduate, athlete, scholar, author--was perhaps the best known and most widely respected black American of the 1930s and 1940s. Robeson was also a staunch supporter of the Soviet Union, and a man, later in his life, widely vilified and censored for his frankness and unyielding views on issues to which public opinion ran contrary. As a young man, Robeson was virile, charismatic, eloquent, and powerful. He learned to speak more than 20 languages in order to break down the barriers of race and ignorance throughout the world, and yet, as Sterling Stuckey pointed out in the New York Times Book Review, for the last 25 years of his life his was "a great whisper and a greater silence in black America."
What followed was a brilliant career as an actor and concert singer which spanned nearly four decades. Robeson made his concert debut in 1925 with a highly successful program of Black music. He went on to such stage successes in Show Boat, Porgy and Bess and Othello, which was hailed by some critics as the play's greatest interpretation. He starred in 13 films between the 1920s and the early 1940s, but decided to stop making movies until there were better opportunities for blacks.
He sang for peace and justice in 25 languages throughout the United States, Africa, Asia Europe, and the Soviet Union. Robeson became known as a citizen of the world, as comfortable with the people of Moscow and Nairobi as with the people of Harlem. Wherever he traveled, Robeson championed the cause of the common person. During the McCarthy Era of the 1950s, every attempt was made to silence and discredit Paul Robeson because of his political views and dedication to civil rights.

Obama Draws Huge Crowd in Oregon
PORTLAND, Ore. — Senator Barack Obama drew the largest crowd of his campaign so far on Sunday, addressing an estimated 75,000 people who had gathered here on the banks of the Willamette River.
“Wow! Wow! Wow!” were his first words as he surveyed the multitude, which included people in kayaks and small pleasure craft on the river on an unseasonably hot day in Oregon.
It is “fair to say this is the most spectacular setting for the most spectacular crowd” of his campaign, he told the audience. His wife and daughters, who have been with him most of the weekend, joined him on the stage at the beginning of the event but left as he was about to speak.

Nas Changes Album Title from "NIGGER"
A representative for Def Jam has confirmed that hip-hop artist Nas has made an eleventh-hour decision to change the title of his new album from N—– to simply Nas.
In an interview with MTV News last week, Nas suggested that he was facing renewed pressure: "Everybody is trying to stop the title.... Record stores are gonna have a problem in this day and time selling a record with that title. Who knows what's gonna turn out and be on that title? Who knows what that title will be?" The politically-charged Nas is due in stores July 1.
Air Jordan 1 “The Tribute” Armed Forces
The Armed Forces edition Air Jordan 1s made in honor of the service of Michael Jordan’s brother, James “Ronnie” Jordan, and all others in the Armed Forces will have a fitting release on Saturday, May 24th on Memorial Day Weekend. Overseas these Air Jordans have released in Asia and Europe including Caliroots in Sweden.
Two colorways were made for this release - one in traditional Army colors and another that matches desert camo tying back to Ronnie’s recent service in Iraq. Though the conversion rate has made the shoes a little more expensive overseas, the sneakers will retail for $100 in the US.
Swiss man soars above Alps with jet-powered wing
Yves Rossy, known as the 'Fusion Man,' flies with a jet-powered single wing over the Alps in Bex, Switzerland. Some people go fishing on their day off. Yves Rossy likes to jump out of a small plane with a pair of jet-powered wings and perform figure eights above the Swiss Alps. The revolutionary human flying machine comes after five years of training and many more years of dreaming.
Rossy, 48, had stepped out of the Swiss-built Pilatus Porter aircraft at 7,500 feet and unfolded the rigid eight-foot wings strapped to his back before jumping.
Passing from free fall to a gentle glide, Rossy then triggered four jet turbines and accelerated to 186 miles per hour, about 65 miles per hour faster than the typical falling skydiver. A plane that flew at some distance beside him measured his speed.

Adidas Superstar II: The New Yorkers
Sole Brother Customs introduces a new custom Adidas Superstar II which is dedicated to all the New Yorkers out there. Nothing flashy was done here with bright colors and fancy designs, Sole Brother Customs went with just a design on the heel of each shoe to salute New York. The Statue of Liberty stands tall with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background on the outside of each shoe and on the inside you have a shot of the city along with a boombox (you know NY is where it started) and a red apple which says “The Big Apple” on it. If your a NY native something like these would be just the thing for you. Pictured above is one of the few images of the Nike Air Force 1 1World “Pedro Winter.” The name Pedro Winter may not sound familiar to you, thats because he is better known as Busy P of the french record label Headbanger.

According to an insider at the company, Mike and Kimbo are set to fight "late this year or early next." But first things first, Kimbo has to win his fight next Saturday night against James "Colossus" Thompson. A fight that or insider claims is "going to be tough."
