Some of what hes saying has some value because its kinda like "The Secret" if you havent seen it I suggest you go rent the DVD or peep it on Google video... But some of what hes saying is a little far gone cuz Nas actually isnt the first artist or person for that matter to say the genre is dyeing it has been leading up to that for some time now since the late 90's when the shiny suits came into play... So Nas brought out on front street what alot of people were saying behind closed doors which is a good thing in my opinion! If HipHop was dead I think that just by Nas saying that it is has caused alot of artists in the biz to prove that it isnt by putting out better music. So I actually think it has had a positive effect on the industry overall...
